While we were in Pemberton for this amazing wedding, it also happened to be my assistant Michelle’s birthday. Michelle is another avid foodie so it seemed like the perfect match for us to celebrate her birthday with dinner at Foragers Field Kitchen and a bottle of champagne.
We sat alongside strangers and bonded over the incredible meals that kept coming from the kitchen that celebrated the end of summer and the beginning of autumn. Amongst the 7 courses there was a tomato and garlic confit that encapsulated a final taste of summer and hay baked chicken that was perhaps the most tender chicken I’ve ever tasted. It was the perfect way to wind down and celebrate.
