More than any other season, autumn always makes me think of change. The environment around me is changing to make way for winter which makes way for spring. Its a constant circle where one cannot exist without the other. A reminder that change is necessary for growth and one element must become dormant to allow another to thrive.
It feels as though we only experience this particular seasonal change here in Perth for a short time before the trees are bare and last Saturday I photographed my last wedding for the season which was thick with autumn colour. I can’t wait to share it with you shortly and am excited for what these dormant months will bring for myself, my family and my business. Grant is training for a 2 week mountain bike ride of the Mundibiddi track which I know he’ll do amazing at while Ben trains for the World Duathlon Champs in October. Phoebe has started a new and super exciting job and I just signed up for the 12wbt. If our goals are anything to go by, come spring we will have lots to share.
For now, here is a quick peek at a beautiful wedding I photographed a couple of weeks ago at Sandalford which was certainly enjoying its autumn flourish.
