I didn’t know how the year was going to play out as I tried to balance my own wedding photography business and nurture a new business, but we made it. In fact this past year took me back to my first year as a wedding photographer with many late nights and early mornings and a few too many take out meals but I admit I love the early stages of business growth and it fed my soul more than I knew.
As I enter my 7th year as a wedding and lifestyle photographer (I can’t believe I wrote that!!) I am more passionate than ever about photography and eternally grateful to my clients and friends and family who have given me the chance to continue to do what I love. To serve others with a gift that I stumbled across some 10 years ago is the most wonderful blessing that I have been given and I can’t wait to continue to photograph many more weddings, engagements and families in 2016 and beyond.
This coming year will be about being intentional in all I do and finding moments of respite in the busy. Doing what I’ve always done … but better. As I look forward to the new year, I wanted to take a moment and look back over the year that was and all the amazing moments I’ve been invited to witness …
