Most days you’ll find me in jeans and a pony-tail sipping an almond milk flat white while hustling in my business behind the computer. I'm a wife to the best husband in the world and a step mother to 2 young adults and my favourite date night involves little more than rugging up in a comfy knit and jeans, a glass of rosé in hand and making pizza with my husband at home before we watch a movie. I told you I like the simple things in life ;)
When I’m not photographing weddings you can find me tending to my garden, cooking up a storm in the kitchen while singing along to Ella Fitzgerald or daydreaming of the next travel adventure with my husband – maybe a long weekend in the south-west or our next trip to Paris.
In 2006, with a 6 month old nephew and 2 new puppies, I bought myself an entry level digital SLR and began documenting our life. This eventually turned into photographing other people’s children and dogs until my mum mentioned my name to an old family friend who’s daughter was getting married and my first wedding was booked.
I quit my office job in admin and took my photography business full time. Since 2009 I have photographed over 150 weddings and fell in love with not only the magic of weddings and but more importantly, the sanctity of marriage. This one day is literally a dream come to life for my couples and I adore being able to photograph it with authenticity to help them remember their wedding day forever.
You want your wedding photos to be timeless and show you as you are - laughing out loud with your closest friends and not spending your time in static poses and pretending to be someone you’re not.
You believe your bridal portraits need to be beautiful and elegant and full of sincere love, but not take hours and hours because you have an awesome party to get to and dancing to do. As a believer in quality, you know that you can’t compromise when it comes to your wedding photographs because you understand the legacy they hold for you and your future children.
As much as you've been dreaming about this day, you are most importantly planning for a marriage even more amazing than your wedding.
You have been dreaming about this moment for a long time and above all the planning and organising, you can’t wait to put on your dress, marry your best friend and disappear together on your honeymoon – officially Mr & Mrs.
